The best Wick book I've read yet. First, the sex in this one is phenomenal - beautiful, real, touching, connected, deep. He's not saying a bunch of creepy lines into her ear while he trusses her up like a Christmas goose and does things to her that feel good to no one in real life ever. This is top shelf descriptions of passionate love making between a fierce Russian bear and his plush woman as only Wick has the mastery to deliver. Gorgeous. Sensual. Perfect.Such a rich character arch for both Alina and Mikhail. I am also *dying* for a series about these two. I wanted a Mikhail book since he appeared in Training Her Curves - he's easily the most likable male hero Wick has ever written (except maybe Logan in Curve Major, another fantastic story you need to read RIGHT NOW if you haven't). Alina is a fantastic heroine - smart, strong, broken, fierce - and I loved that her story was not the same old "I hate my body and I need a man's approval to love myself". She has a complicated backstory and real issues NOT related to her weight. This is not a story about a woman being over weight. It's a story about a complicated and beautiful woman who happens to be overweight, and the man who is devoted to her. **Please** make this a series!!!

Fast-paced, well-written novel, with espionage elements I have never seen from this author. Well done. Wish it had been longer. The child issues resolve WAY too easily, but still a good story.
Mishka and Alina.... Even with all the darkness surrounding them there is always the hope of love being enough.
Mishka and Alina prove that with a glimer of hope any darkness can be disperse with time.
Mishka and Alina have taken a piece of my heart.
This story is heart-wrenching, but the sadness turns to joy by the end. It is very romantic, and we get to know the hero and heroine's history. They grew up together, but he had to leave her with her horrible mob-boss father and half-brother. The story starts when he can finally try to rescue her. She has to recover from the horrors she has lived through, but he does all he can to make her happy.
A very moving love story involving a woman who spent most of her life surrounded by/in the control of truly evil men. Slowly, with great caution, Alina allows herself to accept Mishka's healing love. Well-written, the journey is at times 'dark.' Be prepared with tissues! I'm not sure this story is ended. I'd be happy to read more about this couple as they make their new life together!
Mishka is an awesome character and I was stoked to read his story. Mishka and Alina's story is complex and very intense. You can't help but feel for both of them. It's hard to say too much without spoilers, but Moskva is one of the best stories in the How to Train Her Curves series. It's unlike the others, bringing you an emotional roller-coaster that I love but don't get often in Christa Wick's books.
Ok so this story is pretty intense! I loved the characters and the ending leaves room for a follow up story that I would love to read. The alpha will do anything to save his woman and his woman will do anything to protect her family. These two have been through hell and they still find their way to a HEA. The sex is hot hot hot and the love is even hotter! A great installment in the Curves series.
This book was so very hard to put down, you just can't walk away until you know how the characters develop. It was original and well thought out. There were a few situations that I wished were covered in more depth and the ending didn't leave you hanging but could easily be set up for a sequel. I don't want to spoil anything so I will just say the situation with the child may leave your head spinning a little, his transformation is fast and unexpected, moving quickly from one extreme to the other. There are several steamy moments, but plenty of emotion ones as well. Great read and can't wait to read the next one in the series, keep them coming!
